WAYNESBORO, VA – Sherry Irene Coffey Bowman, 55, of 513 Arch Ave., passed away at 9:58 AM Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Augusta Health. She was born December 19, 1956 in Waynesboro, a daughter of Charles H. and Helen Louise Allen Coffey.

She attended Blue Ridge Church of Christ and was former cashier for Kroger.

Survivors in addition to her mother of Waynesboro, include her husband Lee H. Bowman, two daughters, Amy Lessley and husband Sam of Staunton, Stacey Nuckols of Waynesboro, two brothers, Lee Coffey and wife Nancy of Waynesboro, Donnie Coffey of Waynesboro, a granddaughter, Eliana Rhae Lessley, and her cat "Ashley".

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday February 17, 2012 at Blue Ridge Church of Christ with Pastor Todd Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Marshall Coleman, Johnny Hicks, Terry Grimm, Chris Lloyd, Eric Yates and Pat Perkins.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 PM Thursday at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Lee H. Bowman, 513 Arch Ave., Waynesboro, Virginia 22980.
